Life doesn’t have to be a struggle. More often than not we have to remember this with every fiber of our being, especially when most of the world is trying to tell us otherwise.
When we feel like we are pushing against the grain, we must ask ourselves why are we working so hard, burning ourselves out?
“I am willing for this to be easier and much more magical than I can imagine.”
Continue to live in a state of wonder and appreciation for the sound of rain, seeing a glint of sunshine streaming through our windows, enjoying the taste of chocolate, laughing till ‘it hurts’, a hug from a loved one.
Some things cannot be described, but must be experienced.

Telling ourselves to stay in the light and to focus on the positive is not going to work much. We’re being asked to get real. We’re being asked to dig deep within ourselves and do some heavy lifting. We’re being asked to step into our power and be in our truth.

As I was rummaging through my closet, I came across Echkart Tolle’s first book “The Power of Now”. Tolle states that every minute you spend worrying about the future or regretting the past is a minute lost because all you have is the present moment.
