Look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see, and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. ~ Stephen Hawking
Hello Journeyers’. Have you wondered how can we get into a state of wonder?
What if we practice dreaming the impossible, like the queen in Alice and Wonderland, and train ourselves to be astonished by the beauty surrounding us? The miraculous only lives in the present. It doesn’t have a history because it is unfolding moment to moment like the expanding universe in which we find ourselves wondering about.
If you look around you will find we’re surrounded by miracles; in nature, in animals, etc. You may have to see with a searching eye and a heart towards the miracles both big and small, but it’s there.
Anyone who spends a short amount of time with children would agree they are naturally curious, with an imagination and a unique ability to see the beauty and good all around them. Listen to a child’s questions such as “Who makes the rain?” or the never ending why’s.
Starting with ourselves, just the fact that you can hear, see, touch and love; doesn’t any of these things fall into the category of miracles? You only have to look from a place of wonder to see all that is wonderful.
This is so beautiful Bernice and so very timely, yet again. It’s nearly midnight here and I’ve not long ago stepped inside after being outside, marvelling at the stars and the night sky and setting new intentions. Truly a place of wonder. xo ✨

An incredible post! I especially loved the last part, how the ability to see and hear is a miracle as well. Every small thing around is a miracle.

Its 23.20pm here in South Africa. The stars are still sparkling. Even when we stop, they still sparkle. There is a lesson in there for us.

I love that Stephen Hawking quote… yes so true – we are surrounded with miracles wherever we look, if only we choose to see them. Thankyou for the great reminder! x

Bernice this is a subject that could be written by the volumes. But you have tried to condense it so short and have convinced the fact.
Wonder Wonderful Wonder
