Nature reminds us that we’re part of a much larger universe. Being among the trees and the wildlife brings a sense of serenity and peace within.
When you ground, it simply means having direct contact with the surface of the earth. You can dig your feet in the sand on a beach, in dirt, or in the grass. It connects your energy directly with the ground.
Spending time outdoors, hiking and even working in the garden, can be extremely grounding and stabilizing.Β
Researchers have found grounding reduces stress, improves our sleep and protects our body from inflammation since theΒ Earth is a natural source of electrons and subtle electrical fields.
When my son was younger, he would always come back home with a pocketful of rocks/stones. I didn’t know it back then but holding a rock provides an energetic healing. You may even find a sense of warmth and /or peace when you hold one in your hand.Β
It’s important to take time each week to reconnect with the earth and ground yourself so that more healing, happiness and abundance can flow effortlessly into your life.Β
Enjoy!
Is that your lovely foot on the first picture? π

I live in a fairly cold climate (Michigan, USA) but I do try to practice grounding. One autumn I brought a box of yellow leaves into my writing room to put my feet in while I wrote. It worked pretty well for a substitute for walking barefoot outside, but my cats got confused and thought it was a litter box. Eeek! π I have heard that wet sand is the best for soaking up the Earth’s electrical energy. Guess I need to plan a trip to Mexico. Lovely post.

I just loved to read these lines.
What you have said is really true. Walking on the rocks also gives Acupressure and that should be one more cause for the positivity of Grounding.π·πΆπ

This is SO accurate. Whenever my depression or anxiety gets bad, I go outside and connect (smell the forest, collect rocks, walk around the yard barefoot, play in the garden). It make a true difference in my life.
Thank you for sharing! Love and light to you!
