I came across something called the “Helpers High” the other day. Research has revealed that spending money on others can satisfy basic psychological needs and boost happiness.
For example, contributing to your favorite charity or giving each day in your own little way will increase happiness for everyone involved.
Giving promotes kindness, love, and happiness. Happiness makes us give more and giving makes us happier – seems like a win-win to me.
If we can simultaneously feel good about ourselves while helping others, it seems like a good cycle to be in. Don’t you agree?
Make a positive difference in someone’s life. Give freely to others – the downtrodden, the less fortunate.
Give for love.
Give with no strings attached.
Give because it’s the right thing to do.
