Before we were born, we co-created a chart for ourselves with all of the things we wanted to experience and that which we wanted to learn. Some people may call this our “blueprint” or “life plan.”
Two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument and one friend slapped the other one in the face.
A family doesn’t just mean
Who you are related to
But those who adopted you into theirs as well.
They may not always provide us with joy and acceptance
And in times they come to offer us adversity and challenges
To build our character;
and as we let go of our self-importance,
we are better able to recognize the gifts they bring to us.
